Summary: When we said that all demons seem to want to possess little girls, we left one detail out. It's apparent that they won't just go after little ones, they'll take any lady they can get, regardless of age or mental strength. There is no body too used up, it seems.
History: A vile former doctor seeking immortality, Henry Desjardins made it his mission to act out an ancient Monacan ritual to make his dreams come true. Said ritual involved eating five girls who just hit puberty. He succeeded in murdering four of them before he was killed by Deborah Logan for his actions. Years later, Desjardins lays buried in secret, and Deborah has hit a ripe old age. But Desjardins has come back as an evil spirit to possess her, so that he can finish what he started.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Before he can kill the last girl, Desjardins' corpse is burnt to nothing, banishing him from the mortal realm. While there are some implications that he succeeded, we blame this on there being a twist for the sake of it, regardless of plot consistency.
Powers/Abilities: Possession and telekinesis. Oh, and he can also unhinge his jaws like a serpent.
Weakness: If his corpse is burned away completely, he will be forced to return to the next life.
Scariness Factor: 4-Desjardins was a horrible serial killer in life, and a worse spirit in death. Possessing a poor old lady was one thing, but then the snake motifs and LOOKS come into focus, and we swiftly don't want to look at him anymore. It's a relief that his weakness wasn't too hard to find.
Trivia: -Deborah was played by Jill Larson, who was known for playing as Opal Cortlandt, the ensemble dark horse of the classic soap opera "All My Children".
-Although snake-related rituals were popular amongst ancient Mesoamericans, there is no concrete proof that anything resembling Desjardins' ritual was a part of Monacan culture.
